My buddy Gaba Gavi is is recording his first EP at Mr. Small's Funhouse studio in Pittsburgh, PA. His friend Liz Berlin, of Rusted Root fame, owns the joint and will be producing the album for him. Mr. Small's is conveniently equipped with an artist hostel for Gaba to crash in, as well as a pro-am skate park a few blocks away where he can shred (if he shredded, which he doesn't). Liz has also invited several top-notch musicians to collaborate on the album with him and assist with full band arrangement. Gaba's livin' his dream right now, so everyone wish 'em luck.

Do they have a "little" guitar for him to play there?

From what I hear Gaba's weekend in the studio went well.  He even enjoyed the opportunity to share the stage with Liz Berlin in an impromptu singer/songwriter jam session.  Go Gaba!

The sessions went amazing! I'm uber excited for everyone to hear the final product, and perhaps, if I can work it, the folks here in mugblogvile, yeah, that's right, MugBlogVile, will get a special sneak peek!

And to answer your question Nick...I requested a guitar, which I could actually, and I was sent off into the forbidden enchanted forest to remove a guitar from a special stone. This guitar, it was sealed in the rock by a famous "small" guitar player named, JibberJabber. Legend has it, only "he" who holds the special key that decended from JibberJabber would be able to remove this special guitar. When I came upon the guitar in the stone, there was totally a guitar just chillin' on the ground leaning up against it, so I just snagged that one, screw pullin', I ain't into that!

Peace, Gaba
